Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jacinta

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to taking leaps of faith, embracing opportunities in new markets, and always bringing my best self to every role. I approach my work with the intensity and efficiency I would give my own business, while staying authentic, kind, and committed to uplifting other women. My greatest influence has been my loving, supportive parents, who were visionary entrepreneurs and taught me tenacity, strong work ethic, and the courage to dream big.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to treat my work as my own brand or company and approach it with intensity, efficiency, and ownership. I’ve also learned to create my own opportunities rather than forcing my way into spaces, and to intentionally learn from successful people to continuously improve my craft.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

We truly can have it all, even if it may not all happen at the same time. Be your best self and bring that to your family, career, and life. Stay focused, remain open to learning, and seek out mentors who can guide your growth. For seasoned women, it’s never too late to pursue your goals. My experience working across three distinct U.S. healthcare markets has shown me the value of embracing new environments and learning from each one.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Healthcare is evolving rapidly, making it essential to stay informed about changes in legislation, health policies, and industry trends. It’s also important to understand emerging technologies and innovative advances that are transforming modern healthcare and how it is managed.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My faith is the foundation of my life, giving me purpose each day. I value integrity, ethical behavior, and genuine, trustworthy relationships in both my personal and professional life. My daughter is also a tremendous part of who I am, and I strive to inspire her to become the best person she can be. I am deeply grateful that God chose her for me.
