Jackie D. is a seasoned national security and policy analyst with extensive experience in conducting research, audits, and program evaluations focused on U.S. government operations in complex environments. Currently serving as a Senior Program Analyst at the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), Jackie plays a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of U.S. reconstruction initiatives and foreign assistance programs. Her work directly informs Congress and senior policymakers, with a focus on improving accountability, transparency, and strategic outcomes in international operations. Jackie has led audits on sensitive issues including gender-based violence in Afghanistan and the Taliban’s access to U.S.-funded assets, producing high-impact reports that shape both oversight and strategic policy.

Jackie also serves as a Non-Resident Fellow with the Orion Policy Institute, where she contributes research and policy briefs on defense, security, and emerging threats. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy from American University and ongoing Ph.D. studies in Public Policy and National Security at Liberty University.
