Her Story

About Jackie

I am a business etiquette and leadership mentor coach with a deep passion for inspiring the next generation of leaders. With 8 years in etiquette coaching and 24 years in business leadership, I have built a career centered on service, compassion, and helping others achieve their dreams. I own and serve as CEO of Tampa Bay Academy of Etiquette, where I conduct conferences and classes for universities including University of Tampa, St. Leo University, and Eastern University, as well as various corporate organizations in the Tampa Bay area. Simultaneously, I lead a team at a healthcare organization where I serve as administrator for the department, overseeing all practice operations including doctors, surgeons, and medical oncologists. I am also a life coach to women, which fills my heart. At the core of everything I do is service - how I can inspire, motivate, and help others. I lead with my heart, with compassion, and I treat people the same way I would like to be treated.

Ten minutes with Jackie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to leading with my heart and being a leader who is compassionate. At the heart of everything I do is service - how can I serve others, inspire them, and motivate them. I believe in treating people the same way that I would like to be treated, and I lead with compassion in everything I do.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to lead with your heart and be compassionate. Treat people the same way that you'd like to be treated. This advice has guided me throughout my career and is at the core of how I approach leadership and service.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I would say competing with a new generation where there's a huge gap in social skills. When I look at it, the lack of social skills is actually an opportunity - it's made my business grow, with people seeking to learn more. So either way you look at it, it could be an opportunity, though it could also hinder progress in so many ways.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are transparency, honesty, service, and compassion. These values guide everything I do, both professionally and personally.
