Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jackie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, adaptability, and a strong commitment to continuous growth. I communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and use my business knowledge to solve problems and deliver results. My willingness to embrace change, learn from challenges, and support others helps me remain focused and successful.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received: Build strong relationships, clearly communicate your accomplishments, and pursue opportunities that challenge you. Most importantly, choose work that aligns with your values and long-term goals rather than chasing titles.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My leadership journey is deeply personal. I have not always had answers but I've learned to keep showing up, staying resilient through challenges, and leading with purpose and more so leading with heart. In this industry, influence is not defined by title. It's defined in how we treat people, how we build trust, and how we make space for other people to succeed. I want to be the person to encourage the next generation.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There are a few challenges in my field but the biggest ones are managing change and making difficult decisions. As a leader, I recognize that leadership requires balancing business priorities with the personal needs of the team. I strive to communicate effectively, build trust, embrace change, resolve challenges fairly, and create an inclusive environment where others can grow. By remaining resilient, adaptable, and self aware, I can lead with purpose and help my team succeed.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My number one value would be family over everything. I cherish my family and friends I consider family, and prioritize those relationships above work and everything else. Being in a leadership role, having a voice for others is important to me as well. There's a quote that says “It all starts with how you treat people”and I want somebody to look at me and know that they have a voice even when they feel their voice is not heard.
