Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, both personally and professionally. As a breast cancer survivor now five years cancer-free, I’ve found purpose in mentoring other women through their own journeys with ABCD (After Breast Cancer Diagnosis), where I now participating in the mentor council representing Florida. In my career, that same commitment to care and connection has helped me maintain a 99% client retention rate by building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry—especially those navigating a cancer diagnosis—is to take each day as it comes. Allow yourself to feel everything without judgment, and lean on the strength of your children and loved ones. Listen to your body, embrace your new identity, and hold tight to the things that bring you joy and remind you of who you are beyond the diagnosis. Your resilience will become your greatest asset, both personally and professionally.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is increasing awareness that emotional and peer support is available during a cancer diagnosis. Many individuals feel isolated or overwhelmed when facing treatment, and they don’t always know that resources like one-on-one mentorship and community support exist. By spreading awareness and connecting people to these services, we can offer not just hope, but real, compassionate guidance through one of life’s most difficult journeys.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are strength and resilience. These qualities have carried me through life’s most challenging moments, including my journey as a breast cancer survivor. They also guide how I support others—whether it’s mentoring women through treatment or building lasting relationships with clients through dedication, empathy, and perseverance.
