About Jacqueline

Jacqueline Moffatt is a clinician and social worker specializing in behavioral health. With more than 10 years in social work and additional experience in behavioral health, she provides therapy and support services at a residential facility to adults and young adolescents re-entering the community. She has also worked with the police department, democratic unit, and probation, and previously spent two and a half years at the only women's prison in Connecticut under a grant program where she ran a cohort focused on women, bondage, drugs, and the system. Her path to this work began after earlier roles in manufacturing and as a National Certified Insurance Coding Specialist. She attended legal secondary school with an initial interest in becoming a paralegal before pursuing billing and coding. She earned her degree from Springfield University in Massachusetts after attending independently following her ride share's departure, and later enrolled in an online doctorate program at Capella University, which remains incomplete.
