Ten minutes with Jacqueline

01What do you attribute your success to?

To the Trinity:

God the Father

God the Son

God the Holy Spirit

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Be specific. I will never forget Marvin Wright-Bey telling me that one day while I was at church. It was a lengthy conversation, but those 2 words summed it up perfectly. Just that simple. Being specific brings forth authenticity and focus. We can be too vague and miss our purpose doing so. Being specific about what you want is so key to life itself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't give up. Just stay true to yourself. Know that God is with you always. Despite changes in the industry like AI and the internet, if it is your passion, keep going. The only way it won't happen is if you stop.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The internet and AI. The choice is yours whether to make them challenges or opportunities. Some use them for bad and some use them for good. The choice is clearly yours to make. I, at one point, saw the challenges and chose to make them opportunities. When the pandemic came, some people soon realized the benefits of the internet. They were scrambling to save their businesses, churches, etc. because they weren't online beforehand. The internet and AI is what you choose to make of them. Period.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The Trinity and the tribe of people that I was blessed to cross paths with. To God be the glory.
