Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jacqueline

01What do you attribute your success to?

Growing up in the city as a first generation American, learning opportunities on my own, and striving to make a difference as one of six kids with a large family background motivated me to do more and push forward despite challenges.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

It's never too late to go back and receive an education. You can always go at any time, and go for it, and don't be afraid of it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be afraid. Keep moving forward, ask all the questions you need, build your curiosity on knowledge, and surround yourself with people that are going to really support you.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Navigating the current climate where people see us as competitors rather than opportunities for unity, making it challenging to get people to understand it's okay to share and work together.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, honesty, respect, and presence. Being the same person in all situations and not being someone different.
