She is a dedicated maternal health advocate, consultant, educator, and storyteller with over eight years of experience transforming maternal healthcare through innovative solutions, impactful storytelling, and community-based support. Currently serving as Founder and Consultant at Okionu, she mentors and trains healthcare professionals in compassionate, culturally competent care, and offers creative consulting to maternal health organizations. She is a Speaker, Workshop Facilitator, and Author, and served as a Coach within Branded Birthworker, providing mindset coaching and growth guidance to birthworkers. She also founded Okionu Birth Foundation, providing meal provision and group support for low-income BIPOC families postpartum. Her career includes serving as a Birth Doula, Traditional Postpartum Doula, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, and Doula Mentor at De La Luz Wellness, and as a Freelance Writer for Healthline Media.
