What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe in empowering other people and making an impact wherever I go. I like to see other people succeed, which is why I used my experience to open doors in the federal space for faculty and students to take advantage of opportunities. To me, it's powerful to be able to give students the opportunity to do things they might not be able to do without that support. When I go out on assignments, I absolutely love talking to administrators, faculty, and students to really listen and see what they are trying to achieve, and then based on my experience, give them guidance. The basic thing to me is always that we're here to serve students, so how can we do that the best depending on the environment we're in. I also believe that women will always have to support other women to accomplish what can be accomplished, and I really support encouraging and influencing women, all kinds of women.
