She currently serves in a leadership role managing outpatient phlebotomy services at a local hospital, where she is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, scheduling, payroll coordination, performance management, and regulatory compliance. In addition, she manages laboratory information system (LIS) troubleshooting, reporting workflows, billing processes, and revenue cycle support while driving lab expansion initiatives and strengthening collaborative partnerships with external organizations such as Labcorp. Her work reflects a strong ability to align clinical operations with organizational efficiency, patient access, and service quality.
Her professional journey began in direct patient care as a caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in home health settings, where she developed a foundational understanding of compassion-driven care and patient advocacy. She later advanced into hospital environments as a patient care technician, gaining hands-on clinical experience in acute care delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration. Building on this foundation, she transitioned into laboratory services as a lab technician, where she strengthened her expertise in diagnostic processes, quality assurance, and clinical accuracy. These early experiences shaped her operational mindset and deepened her commitment to improving patient outcomes through both clinical excellence and efficient healthcare systems.
As her career progressed, Jada moved into supervisory and leadership roles within laboratory environments, where she developed expertise in team leadership, workflow optimization, and performance improvement across multiple lab settings. She earned her Master of Healthcare Administration from Franklin University and her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University, further strengthening her foundation in healthcare strategy and biological sciences. She is deeply passionate about healthcare as a lifelong calling rooted in service, believing that effective leadership is grounded in empathy, accountability, and a commitment to people. Her professional philosophy centers on building efficient, patient-focused systems that empower teams, improve access to care, and elevate the overall patient experience.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the healthcare industry is to not be afraid to aim high and pursue opportunities that may initially feel out of reach. It is common to experience imposter syndrome or to question whether certain goals are attainable, but I firmly believe that most achievements come down to preparation, persistence, and confidence in your own abilities. Focus on putting in consistent effort, building meaningful professional connections, and seeking out hands-on experience whenever possible, as these steps will help strengthen both your skills and your confidence over time. Most importantly, do not doubt your potential stay committed to your goals, advocate for yourself, and remember that the opportunities you desire are absolutely achievable with dedication and perseverance.
