Jada Forbes

Jada Forbes serves as a Philanthropy Fellow at More Philanthropy, a role she began in July after transitioning from prior work in sports medicine and childcare. She earned her undergraduate degree in sports medicine from Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, following an initial interest in computer science, and she is currently completing a master's degree in public administration at Bowie State University. Her path into philanthropy was guided by Dr. Hyman, whose public budgeting class led to the fellowship opportunity that exposed her to various nonprofit functions including fiscal sponsorship, finances, and human resources. Forbes completed an internship in Greece during college and maintains membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She represents Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
