About Jade
Jade Zheng serves as a go-to-market engineer focusing on AI infrastructure, especially in memory, at her current company Our Mind. With more than two years in the field, she brings a background in engineering management and product go-to-market. She graduated from Duke University with a Master of Engineering Management, where she learned marketing and management for high-tech products and commercializing technical products through projects and internships. Previously, she worked as a product manager for an industrial robotics SaaS product that she launched with more than one million in sales income. She also co-founded Intelligence Cubed, which was backed by Tesu Ventures, and exited after one and a half years. Her areas of specialization include go-to-market, AI infrastructure, and AI and robotics. In her role, she builds and checks outbound and inbound pipelines, schedules customer meetings to understand pain points, collaborates with engineers on product solutions, and works on social posts and events to improve brand awareness. She attributes success in go-to-market to measurable metrics such as successfully closed customers and customer acquisition cost. Long ago, she volunteered as a teacher assistant for an organization helping people with autism learn drawing.

01What do you attribute your success to?
For go-to-market, there's a standard or common sense for success like successfully closed some customers or the customer acquisition cost. There are numbers or metrics you can check.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
One of my professors told me in the past women had a glass ceiling in their career path but currently in this time if the ceiling doesn't exist so don't limit yourself and then go as fast or go as far as you can.
