01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first and foremost to Jesus Christ. My faith is providing me with wisdom, strength, humility, and perseverance through ever challenge. I believe every opportunity and achievement is ultimately a blessing from God, and I strive to honor Him through my work and the way I lead others. Professionally, I owe tremendous debt of gratitude to my well wisher, David Gross, whom I had the privilege of working with during my time at IBM. I also attribute much of my understanding of success to my older sister, who works as a Goverance Risk Compliance Manager at one of Canada's top and most prestigious law firms. Watching her career has shown me what dedication, integrity, and excellence look like in a picture.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Take your journey one step at a time and focus on competing with yourself, not with others. It's easy to compare your progress to someone else's, but every career path is different, with it's own timing, opportunities, and challenges.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in your abilities, never stop learning, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Seek out mentors who will challenge and support you, lead with integrity, and remember that your career is a marathon, not a sprint. Focus on continuous growth rather than comparing yourself to others, and let your work speak for itself.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

As of 2026, one of the biggest opportunitities in Goverance, Risk, and Compliance is leveraging AI to strengthen risk management and improve efficiency. At the same time, one of the greatest challenges is keeping pace with rapidly evolving regulations while ensuring AI is used responsibly and securely.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life and guides my decisions in both work and personal matters. I value integrity, prayerful decision-making, and staying grounded in purpose. These principles help me remain focused, ethical, and consistent in everything I do.
