Davidson credits her success to maintaining a positive attitude and places the highest value on integrity and dependability in both her professional and personal life.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jaime
01What do you attribute your success to?
Positive attitude has been key to my success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I had a boss tell me you can't expect people to do things the way you do or work the way you work. Over the years I've learned we're not all built the same and being able to understand that this person standing next to me does not think or understand things the way that I see them is a huge gift.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay open-minded. Everyone reacts to things differently. You have to read the room and be able to go with the flow a little bit. Try not to be so rigid.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Our industry is really up and down based on regulations because of the solar industry. The administration got rid of solar credits at the end of 2025, so the whole industry had to shift. We're constantly trying to find ways to educate and accommodate the people who buy from us. There's also some new legislation coming out very soon that's going to shift things again. It's just a constantly changing market with solar.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity in everything, both work and personal. Having integrity is so important. Being able to be a person who keeps their word. It's probably the second, you know, dependability. Those are probably the top two most important things to me as a person.
