What do you attribute your success to?
I credit much of my success to my father, whose decades in sales taught me the power of building trust and meaningful relationships—skills I rely on every day. My husband, Andrew, has been a constant supporter, encouraging me through career changes and the launch of my book. I’m also deeply grateful for my friends, who have guided, connected, and celebrated with me along the way. Their support has been invaluable in both my personal and professional journey.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received actually comes from my husband, Andrew. He has supported me through every step of my journey—from taking a contractor role early in my career without knowing if it would become full-time, to encouraging me to pivot into the role I hold today.
I’m also incredibly grateful for my network of friends. They’ve connected me with opportunities to learn about my current career, helped me map out illustrations for my book, celebrated milestones like my book launch, and offered guidance in countless ways. Their support, both professionally and personally, has been invaluable, and I truly couldn’t have done it without them.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: be curious and never be afraid to ask questions. Speak up when something doesn’t feel right, and share your ideas—your perspective is unique and valuable. Use your voice with confidence, focus on your strengths, and commit to continuous learning. Build meaningful relationships and lean on those who support you and your goals; having a strong network is essential for growth and success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the current challenges in my field is the limited opportunity for in-person networking while many of us work remotely. At the same time, there’s a significant opportunity in the growth and impact of customer advocacy programs, as demonstrated by the rapid enrollment growth in our program.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my personal and professional life are kindness, inclusivity, and empathy. I strive to meet people where they are, understand their perspectives, and treat everyone with respect—principles I also try to instill in my son. Volunteering and giving back are central to who I am. I actively support the local Humane Society and shelters, and my family has adopted three dogs through them. We also make it a priority to donate to our community during the holidays. Even small contributions can make a meaningful difference, and I hope to encourage others to spread kindness and joy whenever possible.
