Jamilyn Giarrizzo
Jami Giarrizzo is a Project Manager in Development at Yellowstone Landscape, where she leads commercial installation crews to bring landscape designs to life. She oversees irrigation and plant installations, coordinates logistics and phasing once bids are accepted, and ensures projects are executed efficiently while honoring the designer’s vision. Known for her steady, people-centered leadership style, Jami combines strong operational skills with a genuine appreciation for the craft, balancing clear communication, accountability, and on-site problem solving.
Recently transitioning from college into the field, Jami began her career in commercial landscaping in September and quickly stepped into a project management role overseeing large-scale projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Agriculture, giving her a solid foundation in operations, organization, and hands-on industry knowledge. Her background as a collegiate student-athlete—where she earned a 4.00 GPA and consistent placement on the President’s List—shaped her disciplined, goal-oriented approach and her ability to lead teams under pressure.
Grounded in her Christian faith, Jami leads with integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic, viewing her work as an opportunity to serve others well. She is deeply committed to crew leadership, thoughtful planning, and delivering quality results, all while fostering trust and respect on every job site. As she continues to grow in her career, Jami is focused on developing as a leader who brings clarity, care, and purpose to every project and team she supports.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to do something you love so that you stay committed and work with purpose and intention. I’m grateful for the guidance and mentorship of my Uncle Mike Giarrizzo and my dad, Jeff Giarrizzo, who have both shaped my approach to work and leadership.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to do everything with confidence, trust your instincts, and remember that you were hired for a reason—especially in male-dominated trades.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now are maintaining consistent crews and improving supply chain efficiency.

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are faith, integrity, honesty, accountability, and a strong work ethic. I also value time outdoors, enjoying activities like hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, clay target shooting, and painting.
