What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a deep curiosity and a willingness to evolve across industries. I started by interning at iconic record labels like Def Jam, which gave me a strong foundation in identifying underground trends and brand storytelling. Over time, I transitioned into tech—most recently launching digital marketing & experiential efforts at Cash App for Miami Art Basel and The Super Bowl for an AI-powered e-commerce product —while building expertise across fashion, sports, lifestyle, and technology. Each step taught me how to connect with audiences in meaningful ways and drive business impact through culturally relevant strategies.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best career advice I’ve received is from my college professor, Dr. Chiagouris, that no idea is ever truly new, but rather, an evolved perspective. I strive to share a vision that adds to the larger conversation. People often get caught up in chasing innovation for the sake of being different, but sometimes the most effective approach is stepping back and asking, “What actually makes the most sense?” I’ve carried that with me throughout my career. It’s why I prioritize listening closely to brands and consumers, understanding their cultural shifts, and then helping translate them into something tangible, impactful, and practical.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is this: make sure your voice is heard—even if it’s shaking. Don’t be afraid to speak up. You’re in the room for a reason, and your perspective adds color. Confidence builds with experience. Courage starts when you take that deep breath, show up, and contribute. It's a lesson I often remind myself when I feel imposter syndrome kick in.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Positivity and self-affirmation are core values I carry both in my personal life and professional work. Practicing affirmations has been a powerful tool in helping me find validation from within, especially in high-pressure environments (a la Issa Rae @ HBO's Insecure). I often encourage the women I work with to do the same—it's a small but meaningful way to stay grounded, build confidence, and lead with intention. Validation from external sources often feels great. But when it comes from within, it's unshakeable.
