Jana Holmaas is a high-performing business professional with more than 20 years of sales experience and a strong background in business development, customer relationship management, and strategic partnerships. She currently serves as a Field Sales Consultant at American Express, where she applies her expertise in relationship building, business analytics, process improvement, and delivering measurable results. Her career has spanned financial services, technology, automotive, retail, and customer service, giving her a broad and adaptable perspective on business and client engagement.
Jana earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Northern Arizona University and has continued to build her professional expertise through diverse roles and industry experiences. Before joining American Express, she worked in sales development at Sift, served as a Brand Ambassador for ElectraMeccanica, and held sales and customer service positions with Enterprise Holdings. She is also a licensed Arizona real estate broker/sales agent and has training in cosmetology, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and versatility.
Throughout her career, Jana has been driven by a passion for connecting with people, providing exceptional customer experiences, and creating meaningful business relationships. I attribute my success to more than 20 years of experience in sales and business, building strategic relationships, improving processes, and delivering measurable results. My success is also driven by my ability to collaborate across teams, integrate business functions, and adapt to complex environments, while maintaining a passion for continuous growth and personal well-being through activities like hiking.

My advice to young women entering the industry is to stay persistent and never give up, especially when working in male-dominated environments. Embrace the emotional intelligence, perspectives, and strengths you bring, support other women, and continue growing together as we create more opportunities for one another.
