About Janalee
I've been in cybersecurity since 2005 and currently work at Palo Alto Networks where I've been for 7 years. My role involves marketing our security products, focusing on customer pain points like exposure management. I keep the world safe by fighting cybercrime for both B2C and B2B. Previously I worked at Symantec after an internship with the SBI. My interest stems from watching forensic files and a minor in criminal justice at San Jose State alongside my marketing degree.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Take the initiative. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Ask as many questions, but most importantly, relationships is key. Build relationships and network with colleagues of different disciplines and industries because that's where you grow and expand.
