Jane Cleary
Þ The programs on self-awareness and meditation practice guide participants in their personal and professional growth.
Þ Based on that, they are able to apply what they have gained to whatever they pursue in their careers or otherwise.
Þ To this end, Optimum Meditation was founded to serve as a mechanism for teaching short-term and long-term self-awareness classes.
Þ Jane's solid experience as a teacher is based on an established and accredited format that has been thoroughly time-tested.
Þ It is centered on self-awareness and discovery, and it provides the tools that satisfactorily give clarity, objectivity, inspiration and well-being to those who are keenly engaged.
Þ Another empowering result is that enhances the individuals' perspectives thereby expanding their personal horizons in the process.
FOR EXAMPLE: Everyone seeks to be free. How a person defines that freedom differs but fundamentally, it is what everyone wants. In this pursuit we take a look at what that
fundamental desire for freedom is as we discover that real freedom is to be free from even seeking it!
But this seeking is due to a sense that something is missing – a feeling that something is lacking. By addressing and wholly resolving these underlying drives, the participants gain a sense of wholeness and well-being that are at the core of the study in self-awareness which is essentially revealing who they are.
Having also been thoroughly immersed in a broad spectrum of professional settings for 40+ years, Jane has the background and wherewithal to know how to apply her teaching and meditation skills to demonstrate how they would work best in the everyday transactional world – no matter what the setting is or what the challenges may be.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to embrace diverse paths and let my career evolve naturally; I’ve lived this by balancing professional endeavors, teaching and meditation, allowing each to shape my growth without feeling pressured to choose between them.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to follow what genuinely excites me, stay open to evolving opportunities, and build a strong personal foundation so I can approach challenges with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my fields are keeping up with the complexity amidst the rapidly changing world of high tech as it relates to meeting the requirements of traditional legal and professional standards. In regard to maintaining self-awareness and meditation programs, it’s distinguishing authentic, long-term self-awareness practices from the oversaturated quick-fix trends. At the same time, there are great opportunities in both areas: there’s growing demand for experienced independent professionals, and in self-improvement, virtual teaching and online content like podcasts or YouTube allow me to reach more people seeking holistic development that blends professional clarity with personal well-being.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are staying grounded and centered, practicing integrity and fairness, and approaching life with self-awareness and conscious intention. I also cherish service, sharing my knowledge to help others grow, and staying open to new experiences—whether professionally, in teaching, meditation, or everyday life.
