, a luxury travel concierge based in Marietta, Georgia, she specializes in full-service, custom travel planning for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Jane and her team believe in organic, engaging, and sustainable travel that connects curious travelers to the world through immersive, meaningful, and tailor-made experiences. Her approach is rooted in building genuine relationships with clients, ensuring each journey reflects their unique interests, style, and budget.
Jane’s love for travel began as a teenager when her family relocated to Japan, allowing her to explore much of Asia during three years abroad. After earning a degree in History from Georgia State University, she embarked on a 26-year career as an international flight attendant with Continental Airlines and United Airlines. Her global exposure and passion for discovery eventually led her to found Plane Jane Travel, combining her deep travel expertise with a commitment to personalized service.
Over the years, Jane has visited six continents and more than 90 countries alongside her family. Her adventures have included swimming with whale sharks in the Maldives, trekking gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda, and volunteering with elephants in India. With a passion for history, wildlife, and authentic cultural encounters, Jane continues to inspire her clients to explore the world with curiosity and purpose — turning every trip into an unforgettable story.

I attribute my success to being trustworthy, maintaining transparency, and fostering open communication. These values have guided my professional relationships and decision-making, allowing me to build strong connections, earn respect, and achieve meaningful results.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to understand the back end of the business. If you’re running a business, it’s essential to separate emotion from the operational side of what you do. Staying objective and focused on the bigger picture is key to making sound decisions and achieving lasting success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to do your research and take the time to understand the back end of the business. Knowledge of how everything operates behind the scenes will empower you to make informed decisions, build credibility, and position yourself for long-term success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence. While AI offers incredible opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve outcomes, it also presents challenges in adapting to new technologies, maintaining human connection, and ensuring that innovation aligns with ethical and professional standards.

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are reputation, hard work, and trustworthiness. I believe that maintaining a strong reputation built on integrity, consistently putting in the effort to achieve excellence, and being someone others can rely on are the foundations of lasting success and meaningful relationships.
