About Janeice
My professional journey began in music, where I was learning the business side of being an artist and getting my name out there. I started working with nightlife event creators, helping make their events more financially successful. I quickly realized I had a gift for connecting people - I would plug event curators into working with other professionals, door bookings, and marketers. People started consulting with me, and then they would thrive in their business after implementing the strategies I shared with them. That's how Consult Then Thrive was born. Over the past 8 years, I've worked closely with companies like Lux Entertainment, Cheap Entertainment, and Enchill Nation, bringing artists out and curating upscale events throughout Orlando. In my role, I handle all the logistics, make sure contracts are completed, and spend time motivating the team, especially the women. Two years ago, I officially turned this into my own business. A typical day for me starts with mantras and meditations with people I mentor, then calling local businesses to see if they need help with marketing or content strategies, often working with different budget options. I go through event details, making sure we have wristbands, officiants, volunteers, and all logistics in order. I also create content for my TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, including content for my mental health advocacy business, The Under Me Speaks for Mental Health. I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University, where I'm a National Society of Collegiate Scholars member. My music that will be coming out will be about this journey I've had in the business.
