Janet Cole

Janet Cole is an aspiring Human Resources and Learning & Development professional with over 15 years of leadership and training experience in food service and retail management. Passionate about helping people grow, she has developed strong expertise in employee relations, team building, and performance coaching. Her hands-on experience managing teams has cultivated a deep understanding of how positive workplace culture drives engagement and organizational success.

Throughout her career, Janet has held key leadership roles, including Training Manager at McDonald’s, where she designed and implemented onboarding programs to ensure new hires acclimated smoothly and remained motivated. As a Store Manager, she managed full-cycle hiring, scheduling, compliance, and background checks, strengthening her knowledge of HR processes and best practices. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Manager at Weigels Inc., where she continues to combine customer service, training, and operational leadership to drive team performance.

Janet is a certified Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR®) and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management at Western Governors University. She is actively seeking opportunities as an HR Assistant, Coordinator, or Training & Development professional, eager to leverage her extensive leadership experience to support employee growth and organizational excellence.
