Ten minutes with Janet

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think, especially my children, but definitely showing them that there's no limit to be successful, whether you have a degree or not. You just basically have to know how to open doors and ensure that you're setting up the stage where people want to come and work for you, and you don't basically have to promote yourself.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think professionally, I The best advice was seeing others believe in myself before I believed in me. And so I think Being open to coaching, being open to feedback, whether it's positive or negative feedback. Can be a life changer in your career and in your personal life.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I will tell them to basically, always be ready. Always be prepared. And never underestimate The potential and the power that's in us. That we can be mothers, we can be daughters, we can be wives if whatsoever, but we can also be professionals.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I, in general, I think, is retaining talent and ensuring that Our people know how many benefits the company provides, and having them stay within the company. Helping continue to improve employee satisfaction would be one of the biggest things.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Values is definitely, like I said, always having a brand. A brand that talks about who I am and keeping it always, in a good note. Respect, and respect. And, working hard, definitely. Being there to support others, and showing up when it's necessary.
