Janet Milia

Janet Milia serves as Area Manager for affordable property management in Panama City Beach, Florida. With 8 years in the field, she began as an assistant to a property manager and was promoted to Community Manager for four small rural development apartment complexes. After moving to Florida and joining her current company, she briefly managed a conventional property before returning to affordable housing. Milia leads teams through audits with zero findings, maintains occupancy above 97 percent annually, and supports residents with needs such as Social Security and LIHEAP applications. She earned the Team Spirit Award along with special recognition for outstanding achievement in 2024 and 2025, the Excellent Survey Award, an Outstanding Audit award in 2024, and repeated occupancy awards. Milia attended Troy State in Dothan studying secondary English education but did not graduate and is a member of SAMA.
