Her Story

About Janet

I work as the administrative officer for Born to Ball, DC, a nonprofit supporting underprivileged children through grant writing and direct mentoring to help them succeed in school and handle personal challenges. With over 20 years as a government contractor, I joined this family-owned organization because my son, the CEO, was inspired by his own basketball injury that left him paralyzed. I draw from my experiences as a mother and grandmother, including recent personal losses, to bring compassion to helping families achieve stability like homeownership or education.
