Her Interview
Ten minutes with Janica
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and seeing people treated poorly and discriminated against. I want to give people a safe space where it doesn't matter your color, race, age, height, or weight. I want people to come into my facility and be able to exhale and feel safe and feel confident.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't stop and you have to love what you do. Do not go into a profession if you're looking for money. Go into the profession to make a difference.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Do your homework. If you're in it for the money, don't do it. Be patient, do your homework, and be accessible for your clients. Provide high level of customer service and let them know I'm here to answer your questions.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Dedication, consistency, being a stand-up citizen, truthful, and compassion. Especially when dealing with sensitive information, building trust with clients by following guidelines of FDLE and AHCA.
