Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received comes from the incredible people in my life who have believed in me—my mother, mentors, friends, and even strangers who’ve shared their wisdom. Each has shaped who I am, teaching me lessons about leadership, resilience, and purpose. Their support and guidance continue to inspire me personally and professionally.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To young women entering this industry, I would say it starts with self-actualization—truly understanding who you are and reconnecting with the dreams you may have had as a child. Even if others didn’t always support you or your aspirations felt out of reach, believe that anything is possible. Embrace opportunities, apply what you learn, and be confident in your voice. Life is full of unexpected paths, and you can always pivot toward your dreams—so keep them alive and trust in your potential.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are faith, self-love, and community. My walk with God has been a foundational guide—not in a way that imposes beliefs on others, but as a compass for finding my own path. I’ve learned the importance of doing things for myself, loving myself, and showing up fully, while accepting nothing less from life. Equally, community matters deeply. Not everyone will be family by birth, but chosen family—mentors, friends, and supportive strangers—can have a profound impact on your journey. Building and nurturing that support system is essential.
