Her Interview

Ten minutes with JaQuana

01What do you attribute your success to?

I credit my upbringing for shaping my success. Coming from a place with limited opportunities, I learned early on the importance of creating my own path and seizing every opportunity that came my way.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

To remain true to who I am and approach everything I do with authenticity.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To take care of themselves. When you work in a field dedicated to serving and helping others, it’s easy to forget your own needs. I believe that if you don’t take care of yourself first, you won’t be able to effectively care for or help anyone else. So, take care of yourself and enjoy what you do. When you prioritize your well-being and find joy in your work, you’re able to give your best to others. Remember, true fulfillment comes from balancing service to others with care for yourself.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Outside of work, I value spending time with family and friends and exploring new places through travel. Rooted in resilience and ambition, I am always striving to expand my network, grow my impact, and inspire others to reach their full potential.
