Ten minutes with Jaqueta

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to unwavering faith, integrity, and a commitment to preparation and excellence. I believe God’s guidance has shaped my path, strengthened my resilience, and sustained me through seasons of growth and delay. I approach every opportunity with discipline, intentionality, and a willingness to learn, understanding that consistency and character matter as much as capability. I have also benefited from mentorship, community, and a strong support system, which have sharpened my perspective and reinforced the importance of service, humility, and stewardship. Ultimately, my success is rooted in perseverance, purpose, and the determination to grow while remaining aligned with my values.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You don’t need permission to be capable. Learn your craft, know your worth, speak with clarity, and don’t stay where you are not respected. Success is built, not handed out.

Walk into every industry knowing you belong. Build skill before status, protect your integrity, ask questions boldly, and never confuse silence with professionalism. Growth is not linear; and neither is success.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My work and personal life are guided by integrity, purpose-driven excellence, and service-oriented leadership. I am deeply committed to doing what is right, preparing thoroughly, and operating with accountability in every environment I enter. Grounded in faith and a strong sense of calling, I seek alignment between who I am and what I do, valuing impact over recognition. I lead with care, structure, and intention, prioritizing growth, resilience, and meaningful relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and high standards. I believe success is built through discipline, stewardship, and consistent service, and I strive to leave every space better than I found it.
