About Jasemine

My career path has been unique, starting as a call center manager at a hair salon where I developed skills in software and leadership that would prove invaluable. I transitioned into Toyota Financial Services about four and a half years ago as a universal agent working the call queue, and I've been growing ever since. Through mentoring, volunteering, coaching, and training, I've navigated the corporate space and consumer lending world to reach my current position, which I've held for two and a half years. Today, I work in a hybrid role, spending most of my time working from home with one day per week in the office. My typical day involves reviewing my schedule and meetings, checking emails for any new lending changes or updates to consumer knowledge articles, and then diving into our auditing portal to process accounts that need to be audited, balanced, or refunded. What I'm most proud of is when a customer who escalated to me, someone who was using profanity and extremely upset, later reached out and wrote a letter to my supervisors about how well I handled the situation. They told me how much I changed their day just by actively listening and being there to resolve their issue. While I could point to bonuses and other achievements, I'm more about service and helping people. My background in early childhood education, where I earned my associate's degree, taught me to sympathize and empathize with almost anyone and look at things from a broader perspective. That education piece, learning about temperaments and emotions, and then bringing that into the corporate world has helped me be professional while still nurturing relationships with my peers and the consumers we help daily. I'm currently pursuing my degree in marketing and management at Georgia Piedmont Technical College with plans to transfer to Georgia State, focusing on operational management, business laws, regulations, and compliance.
