Ten minutes with Jasmin
01What do you attribute your success to?
My work ethic comes from my mom who was a teacher. Being super personable, hardworking, and reliable has helped me build a trusted professional reputation through serving on several boards and committees.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Make sure your personal values align with your professional values. Align yourself with something you strongly believe in, whether women's health, senior health, children's health, or mental health. Have a passion for what you do because it is more than just a job.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
After COVID, funding has significantly changed at federal and local levels affecting partnerships, sponsorships, and donors. I combat this by putting myself out there, making connections, going to networking events, and building relationships with individuals and large companies.
