Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a mindset of continuous growth and learning, inspired by Kobe Bryant’s “Mamba Mentality.” I’ve always welcomed feedback and focused on improving my skills, especially in connecting with and helping people. My background in retail management, strong customer-service skills, and passion for assisting others have allowed me to advance quickly and make a meaningful impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to embrace the “Mamba Mentality” that Kobe Bryant was known for. There’s always room to grow and learn, and being open to constructive criticism is essential—it only makes you better.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be visible, share your story, and embrace opportunities to be a role model. Representation matters, and by pursuing your goals with confidence, you can inspire others from similar backgrounds to do the same.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, community, and well-being. As a proud single mom, my daughter is my greatest source of pride and motivation—her achievements as an honors student and multi-sport athlete inspire me every day. I’m also passionate about mental health advocacy, particularly within the African American community, where open conversations are often limited. Through my work and personal endeavors, I strive to provide high-quality service, support others, and inspire those facing challenges to persevere and succeed.
