About Jasmine
Jasmine Chittenden is an accomplished organizational development professional and public-sector leader with more than 22 years of experience supporting government and military environments. As a Senior Program Specialist with the United States Department of War, she brings a pragmatic, systems-focused approach to organizational development, strategic leadership, research, facilitation, program management, and stakeholder engagement. Her career has centered on helping people, systems, and missions work more effectively together, particularly when organizations face complex challenges and competing priorities.
A former U.S. Marine, Jasmine has built her career around service, advocacy, and strengthening military communities. Her experience includes leadership, family readiness, training, policy, crisis management, and supporting service members and their families through significant transitions. She has also contributed to organizations including the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, USO, and STEP, and was recognized for her Ombudsman service and resource coordination following the USS Bonhomme Richard fire. Her military-connected upbringing and years of living and traveling in different parts of the world have further shaped her adaptability, curiosity, and ability to navigate diverse environments.
Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University. Her graduate research explored emotionally intelligent behaviors and psychological resilience among junior enlisted U.S. Navy sailors, reflecting her commitment to purposeful organizational development and human-centered leadership. Looking ahead, Jasmine remains focused on meaningful service, continued professional growth, and helping organizations turn complex challenges into practical action. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, gourmet cooking, travel, baseball, and automobiles, including collecting and rebuilding cars.
