About Jasmine
Jasmine Crabbe is a student at Oklahoma State University, where she majors in fashion merchandising, minors in law, and gains practice in sales. With three years in the industry, she began exploring merchandising during her sophomore year to combine her passion for fashion with business skills and later added a law minor with plans to study fashion law. Crabbe serves as the 56th Miss Black OSU on the OSU Royalty Court and as secretary for the Blackstone Association. She founded The Glow Project charity, which supplies hygiene products to Oklahoma schools, and supports the Sports Bar Drive and Royalty Closet. Her mentors include Aniyah Gold, with whom she interned, and her grandfather, a former Supreme Court Justice in Ghana. Crabbe advises young women entering the field not to be intimidated and to find their niche, noting the fulfillment she has found despite initial challenges with rejection.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be intimidated. A lot of people told me fashion was scary, you're not gonna get a job. I don't know any other career path that has been fulfilling like this. Anybody that's looking at it, I would tell them, don't be intimidated, you just have to find your niche.
