About Jasmine
Jasmine Gant serves as CEO of her creative content agency based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has spent about 10 years in her field, with the past 6 years dedicated to growing and leading her agency, which focuses on content creation, influencer management, social media management, and design. Gant began her career straight out of college as an intern in the public relations office of the Kansas City Royals, where she stayed for 3 years and gained experience across multiple departments including grass services, charities, and event activations during two World Series. She later worked briefly in education before transitioning to an agency role managing influencer campaigns for Dunkin' Donuts and Juicy Juice. After being laid off in 2020, she leveraged her freelance experience editing YouTube videos for influencers to launch her own agency. Gant attributes her professional success primarily to her faith in God, the encouragement of her husband who pushed her to pursue entrepreneurship, and the strong work ethic instilled by her parents and grandmother. She emphasizes the importance of adaptability, a value shaped by her upbringing as a military child who moved frequently, including to places such as Oklahoma, Hawaii, Colorado, and Germany. In addition to her professional work, Gant is passionate about missionary work, having traveled to different countries to provide water, medicine, food, and supplies while spreading the gospel.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jasmine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would always start anything, I would say now, is, God, giving all glory and honored him because there are so many other women who are incredibly talented that he could give the ideas to... Second, I would say my husband... he shoved me off that mountain... And then, of course, lastly, my parents. They've instilled such a hard work ethic in me... my grandmother, she had 4 children, and went back to school nights to get her education degree.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
A lot of us come into fields and we immediately want to be with the top name... I would encourage them to find somewhere smaller and more niche where their impact can be noticed... Don't sweat the small beginnings. I think that's where so much harvest is created... if you can find a place that will truly let you lay a footprint, that's where you want to be.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
For me, I would say adaptability. As a military child, you quickly learn how to move from comfortability to now something new... if you can learn how to adapt as quickly as possible to your new setting, then you can be on your way to success in any area that you're in.
