Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jasmine

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say being a great role model to my kids, basically everything I do, pretty much. Once you have kids, it's like, you're living for them at that point. I want them to see, you know, hey, mom didn't just sit back and let dad take, you know, control. I paid my own way. I'm still able to do this, you know, have a career, and juggle being a mother at the same time. You're not limited to just one role.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just keep a plan. So, me personally, I'm always writing my goals down, I'm notating them, I'm looking at ways to, like, actually be able to attain them. Use that SMART goal module if you can. And I always say, you know, sometimes you have setbacks, even myself, even though I am tenured in my role, and it's times where I'm like I just want to stay here where it's safe and secure, or, you know, take that leap of faith and go into, you know, Basically, it's gonna be a career switch, because I've been doing financial for so long, so when I dive into tech. it's gonna be way different than what I've been doing for the past 4 years. So, sometimes I just have to, you know, keep my head above water, and just be confident within myself and my skills, and know that, hey, I can achieve anything that's brought on me.
