Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jasmine

01What do you attribute your success to?

What gives me that drive is the freedom to be able to be there for my daughter all the time. Not having to clock in and out and ask, and being able to just have the flexibility to be able to show up for my daughter. It keeps me going.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Just post the content. Even if the engagement may be low, people are still seeing it, and it all pays off in the end.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Make sure that you have at least 6 months' worth of bills saved before you quit your job, and do not let the noise deter you from that. And also tune out the noise from social media, and just focus on yourself being your biggest competition.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The economy, interest rates. Things that are really outside of most people's control. People are getting laid off, and people are very hesitant. Making sure that even though this is my realm of work, still being able to be gentle enough and also try to find the best options for my clients at all times.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My values is just really being able to just show up for all people. I pride myself on being able to walk in a room and just be able to be relatable to every single person in the room. I want home ownership to be accessible to all people, so it's important for people to always feel respected when they interact with me. Trust is important.
