About Jasmine
Jasmine Rice is a Business Operational Manager at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas, where she leads multiple teams and has been for nearly five years. With 18 years in healthcare, she began as an emergency room technician while a pre-med major at an HBCU in Arkansas before transitioning to a pharmaceutical company role in sales, medical devices, forecasting, quality assurance over a distribution center, specialty pharmacy, and call center for seven years. Rice then spent seven years at a health plan managing Medicaid and Medicare regulatory deliverables for CMS, earned her master's in biology and later a Doctorate of Business Administration after facing challenges with her biology background in promotions, and has published research on effective leadership for remote workers across generations. She recently launched a consulting business to address leader burnout and capacity issues in healthcare organizations, drawing from her experience managing hybrid teams of over 37 people. Rice is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and the National Women of Achievement.
