Jaya Jeyaraman

Jayalakshmi Jeyaraman brings more than 18 years of expertise to the semiconductor industry, with a focus on pre-silicon verification of CPU IPs and SOCs using the UVM language and emerging AI tools. After earning her bachelor's degree in India and completing her master's in the US, she began her career with internships at AMD and Intel before joining Intel full time in manufacturing validation for five years. She then transitioned to Intel's CPU pre-silicon verification team, working on components such as schedulers and integer floating point units, and later led the team as a manager, building it from scratch during challenging periods including COVID and earning recognition through divisional awards, spontaneous awards, colleague kudos, and a team plaque. She subsequently served as a senior verification manager at Exeon Technologies, leading a team of 15, before moving to Microsoft as an individual contributor on the Verification or Subsystem Team, where she now handles multiple IPs and emphasizes ROI-driven approaches alongside AI advancements. Based in Austin, Texas, she maintains a hybrid work schedule and has been recognized for her technical curiosity and leadership impact.
