Jayla Middlebrooks

Jayla Middlebrooks serves as Retail Manager for the Atlanta Dream WNBA team, the only WNBA franchise in the Southeast region, based in Atlanta, Georgia. She began with the organization in 2023 immediately after graduating from college, starting as a marketing intern before advancing to a contracted retail operations coordinator role and then to full-time status, culminating in her current promotion to Retail Manager. In this position she oversees the retail department, collaborating with cross-functional teams, league licensees, third-party partners, and internal stakeholders on e-commerce, branding, partnerships, email and SMS marketing, and initiatives to drive revenue and expand the fan base through product and community engagement. Middlebrooks earned her degree in sport management with a minor in business administration from Gardner-Webb University in 2023, where she competed as a Division I women's lacrosse athlete for four years. Her background includes hands-on mentorship under leaders such as Hannah Spencer, Morgan Sharp Parker, Kayla Pettis, and Leslie Mullins, and she draws on a lifelong passion for sports to focus on inspiring the next generation while pursuing strategic and creative growth in the industry.
