What do you attribute your success to?
When it comes to my success, I attribute a lot of it to my support system and upbringing. I have a very supportive husband, and I was raised with a strong work ethic. I’ve always enjoyed working with people, and that has naturally guided me into roles where I can connect, collaborate, and grow.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received is to say yes before you feel completely ready. A lot of times, we wait until we feel perfect or fully prepared before speaking up or stepping into an opportunity. But the truth is, growth happens when you take that step even if you’re not 100% ready. That advice really helped me build confidence in myself, and it’s something I try to share with others as well.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For women entering the automotive industry, I would say don’t limit your perspective of what the field is. A lot of people assume it’s only about fixing or selling cars, but it’s really a people-driven business with many different career paths. There are so many opportunities within dealership organizations and the automotive space overall. I would definitely encourage more women to explore the industry and see what it has to offer.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In terms of challenges, the automotive industry is constantly evolving. Factors like tariffs, gas prices, and shifts in consumer demand can impact how people make purchasing decisions. There’s also the ongoing challenge of balancing traditional vehicles with the growing demand for electric options. At the same time, these changes create opportunities to adapt, grow, and find new ways to meet customer needs.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In both my personal and professional life, I value the emotional side of working with people. I believe in being approachable, genuine, and someone others feel comfortable with. Collaboration and integrity are also very important to me.
