Her Story

About Jazmine

Jazmine Grays is an undergraduate senior at Western Michigan University with a focus on event management. Initially drawn to interior design for its potential to transform community spaces, she shifted her path upon realizing that meaningful impact comes from connecting directly with people through collaborative and informative events. Currently, she balances two internships, one at Edison Neighborhood Association and another as a Bronco Bash intern, while serving as president of Honeybee Harmony, a student-led organization on campus where she mentors incoming freshmen and transfer students. Grays planned and executed the Sisterhood Summit in February 2026, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Joy McGrew and breakout workshops that reached approximately 120 undergraduate students, primarily from the Black community, to foster growth and safe spaces for dialogue. She is also actively involved with Multicultural Affairs for Students at Western Michigan University, which provides mentorship and resources for students of color. Her approach to her career emphasizes allowing passion to guide her evolving path as she learns more about herself.
