Ten minutes with Jazzmine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to effective communication, strong leadership, and the incredible teams I have worked with throughout my career. I have been fortunate to learn from exceptional leaders who helped shape my professional growth, and I firmly believe that the people closest to the work often have the most valuable insights. While I strive to lead with clarity and purpose, I know that my achievements are a reflection of the dedication, expertise, and support of the teams I have had the privilege to lead.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of career advice I’ve received came from my mentor, Anita Ignatov. During a pivotal time in my career, she provided invaluable guidance, support, and encouragement that helped me build confidence in my leadership abilities. Her mentorship taught me to trust my instincts, embrace new challenges, and lead with confidence.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be patient with yourself and your growth. Building a successful career takes time, and it's important to give yourself the grace to learn, develop your skills, and gain experience along the way. Trust the process, stay committed to your goals, and recognize that growth happens through consistent effort and perseverance.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in healthcare today is navigating operational efficiency, reimbursement complexities, workforce development, and an evolving regulatory environment. At the same time, these challenges create significant opportunities for innovation, enhanced patient experiences, stronger strategic partnerships, and more effective data-driven decision-making. Organizations that can adapt to change while remaining focused on quality care will be well positioned for long-term success.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me, both personally and professionally, are family, support, and commitment. Outside of work, my greatest passion is my two daughters, and much of my time is devoted to supporting their interests, achievements, and personal growth. Whether it's traveling to dance competitions, attending tennis matches, or helping my oldest daughter prepare for her next chapter at college, being present for their milestones is incredibly important to me. Their accomplishments bring me immense pride, and supporting them through life's transitions reinforces the importance of dedication, perseverance, and unconditional support in everything I do.
