About Jean
She is a veteran, retired Army nurse, nonprofit leader, and entrepreneur with extensive experience supporting veterans, farmers, community programs, and event planning. She has served as President and CEO of Tender Love and Care Veterans Farm for over three decades. Previously, she served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years before retiring. She holds a doctorate in Theology and Social Justice from Southwestern School of Theology and a bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
