Her Story
About Jeanette
Jeanette Chasworth has been an interior designer for almost 30 years. She creates homes that reflect a person's energy, helping clients through major life transitions such as divorce, widowhood, or moving to a new house. Rather than imposing trends or her own style, she assists clients in discovering their personal style, often leading to unexpected benefits like improved sleep or better relationships. In addition to her interior design practice, Chasworth founded Happy Boobs, a business focused on breast health and pain relief through energy healing techniques she has developed over 30 years. She holds a literature degree and an AA from FITM, along with color certifications, aging in place certifications, healing certifications, and a certification in the energy of color. Chasworth is the proud author of the published book What's Color Got to Do With It?, which teaches readers how to select the best colors for themselves based on color theory and psychology. She is involved with Habitat for Humanity and Cancer Kinship, which provides wigs to women with cancer, and she donates a portion of her proceeds to the latter organization.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to have a balance of left and right brain, or find somebody who can be whichever side you don't have. Most of us are quite creative but you need somebody to be the project manager, handle the money. Every day is different with new challenges and always something new to learn. The odds are you're going to be working by yourself or with one other person so you're wearing a lot of hats including marketing and running the business.
