Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jeanette
01What do you attribute your success to?
To become better. To make America great again.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I'm not normal. I am that go-getter that you give me a finger, I'm gonna bring you back the whole hand with the finger... all the fingers. Dedication. But it's because I love what I do. I don't do it just for a check. I love what we do.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You learn the business from the inside out. Before you invest in it. Learning. Be a regular switcher. Work in a warehouse. See how you organize boxes, how you palletize, how you shrink wrap them.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Having to deal with steering wheel holders, because I can't even categorize them as drivers. That would be my biggest challenge. To stay in this field and have the thick skin that I've had for more than 20 years. Because it hasn't been an easy ride.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect and honesty.
