About Jeanette

She is a mission-driven nonprofit and community engagement professional with a strong background in mental health, pastoral care, human rights, and culturally responsive community programs. She most recently served as Director of Spanish Communities' Engagement at the Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministers, focusing on expanding mental health ministry for Spanish-speaking communities through culturally responsive resources and parish-based initiatives. Previously, she spent over seven years with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, leading Whole Person Care initiatives, healthcare and spiritual care partnerships, family ministry programs, leadership training, and Spanish-language accessibility. Her earlier experience includes admissions leadership, international fundraising, refugee support, and community service. She holds master's degrees in Peace and Justice Studies and Pastoral Care & Counseling, with a focus on conflict resolution, human rights, spirituality, psychology, and post-conflict healing.
