Ten minutes with Jeanne

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first and foremost to God, whose guidance and strength have been the foundation of my journey. Beyond that, I believe my persistence, determination, and commitment to continuing forward through challenges have played a significant role in my achievements. I am also deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my family and friends, whose encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental throughout my personal and professional growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to make space when there isn’t room. This has taught me the importance of being proactive, creating opportunities, and not waiting for circumstances to change before taking action. By embracing innovation, advocating for myself, and finding ways to contribute even in challenging situations, I have learned that growth often comes from creating new paths rather than simply following existing ones.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to remain steadfast, stay curious, and maintain a commitment to continuous growth. The ability to adapt, embrace change, and develop a thirst for learning will be essential as industries continue to evolve. I encourage women to be proactive in building their skills, seek opportunities for growth, and approach their careers with confidence, resilience, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now are being shaped by the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and the changing labor market. For recruiting, the impact of AI and a stagnant job market present significant challenges as organizations and candidates navigate new expectations and evolving skill requirements. At the same time, there is a tremendous opportunity through the rise of skills-based hiring, where individuals have greater ownership over their career development. By continuously building new skills, gaining certifications, and embracing lifelong learning, people can take control of their professional growth. I believe the mindset shift from being an employee to becoming the CEO of your own career empowers individuals to create opportunities and drive their own success.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are commitment, faithfulness, and organization. I believe that staying dedicated to my responsibilities, remaining loyal to my values and the people I serve, and maintaining strong organizational skills are essential to achieving success. These principles guide how I approach challenges, build relationships, and consistently strive to make a positive impact in everything I do.
